Vivli Data Repository for Sharing Clinical Research Data

Update 10/24/23 Check out our Vivli help desk article to access the informational webinar recording and other resources.

Did you know that UCSF is an institutional member of the Vivli Clinical Data Repository? This repository is an online platform for researchers to share anonymized individual participant-level data from clinical trials and other clinical studies. As members, UCSF researchers are able to upload and share data for free by creating an account with their UCSF email. Qualified investigators are then able to apply to Vivli for access to the shared data for re-use in future studies. With new journal and funder data sharing policies like the NIH Data Management and Sharing policy now in effect, Vivli will be an essential tool for helping UCSF clinical researchers share their individual participant level data in a secure way that protects patient privacy.
