Welcome New Data Science Student Teaching Assistant, James Lim

The UCSF Library Data Science Initiative (DSI) is excited to announce that James Lim has joined our team as a new student teaching assistant (TA)! Together with our returning TA Fred Jiang, James will TA DSI classes and consultations, and will help us offer more data science training opportunities for the UCSF community. Look for James in an upcoming workshop, and be sure to say “hi” if you see him online!

James Lim is a MD, MAS student finishing his last year at UCSF. He is applying to combined internal medicine/pediatrics residency, with a plan to pursue a fellowship in clinical informatics. Although he moved around a lot as a child, he now calls Irvine, CA his home. His interests include health systems improvement, teaching, classical music (avid pianist and cellist!), watching seemingly unbelievable docu-series on Netflix, and replicating easy TikTok recipes.
