Visit Our Virtual Data Science Help Desk!

Introducing the virtual DSI Help Desk, a place to ask your general questions about data science including how to download software or code packages, prep for upcoming DSI classes, get started with programming, connect with data science expertise and more. No appointments required, just drop in starting January 2022.

At the DSI Help Desk, we can answer general data science questions and connect you with a wealth of data science resources and expertise. The Help Desk is hosted twice a week by Temi and Fred, graduate student TAs from the DSI Team on Mondays from 3-4pm and Wednesdays from 2-3pm — subject to change to fit the needs of the UCSF community.

Due to current COVID-19 guidelines, the Help Desk will be hosted on Zoom, but in-person DSI Help Desk services at Mission Bay/Parnassus campuses may be offered in the future. The DSI Help Desk is open to the UCSF community including faculty, staff, and trainees.

We look forward to meeting you (virtually) at the DSI Help Desk in 2022!
