UCSF’s First Zine Fair | June 9, 2023

The UCSF Intrinsic Value of Art Series (IVAS) invites the UCSF community and the public to the first-ever UCSF Zine Fair! If you are interested in art prints, books, poetry, comics, etc. and supporting Bay Area artists and small-run publications, then we encourage you to join us on Friday, June 9, 2023, 1 – 5 p.m. at the UCSF Alumni House (745 Parnassus Ave, San Francisco, CA 94122).

This fair aims to highlight creative expression from diverse Bay Area artists around the themes of identity, health, wellness and the human experience. In addition to the displayed zines, the fair will have light refreshments and a DIY zine booth where you will learn how to make your own zines. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.

The UCSF Alumni House is wheelchair accessible. To request reasonable accommodations please contact the IVAS committee at intrinsicvaluearts@gmail.com as soon as possible.

Support from the UCSF Department of Humanities and Social Sciences and the UC Humanities Research Institute have made this event possible.

Interested in submitting your art for the UCSF Zine Fair?

The IVAS is accepting submissions from Bay Area zine makers until Friday, June 2. In addition to displaying their work at the fair, accepted applicants will receive an honorarium for their participation. Learn more and apply via the submission form.
