Welcome to fair use week 2018!
Fair Use Week celebrates its fifth anniversary this year, from Monday, February 26th to Friday, March 2nd, so check out some of the cool events happening. There are blog posts, events, and a free webcast on “Answering Copyright Questions About Fair Use for Faculty Colleagues” from the the Association of College and Research Libraries.
The UCSF Library will be celebrating fair use week on Monday, February 26th, from 12-1, with a table in the library. Stop by for a treat and enter our raffle for some fun prizes! Top prize: a $25 gift card.
Here are a few fair use resources you can use:
- UCSF Fair Use Checklist – Use this checklist to determine whether your use of copyrighted material falls under Fair Use
- Fair Use Questionnaire – from UCSD
- Fair Use Flow Chart – This flow chart will help you determine whether you need permissions to use copyrighted materials in your CLE
