CLE Course Template Now Available!

Building CLE courses can be overwhelming, and it can be hard to know where to start. Whether you are new to the CLE or have been using it for a while, our instructional designers have you covered! The recently developed CLE Course Template is a useful tool for course managers and instructors who are developing new courses in the CLE or updating existing ones.

This template is structured to be easily customized for any course delivery type – online, face-to-face, or blended. Throughout the template you will find various guides that contain examples and best practices to support teaching and learning. You will also come across placeholders which can help you flesh out student learning activities.

Request your own copy

As you explore the template, think about the various pieces that can be used in your own course. When you are ready, you can request a copy of the template to customize content and/or import any elements into your existing courses.

Some key features of the template include:

  • Teaching and learning guides
  • A topic/week section format
  • Instructional content templates (Pages, H5P Presentations, etc.)
  • Assessment templates (Project pages, Reflection Quizzes, etc.)

Contact the Learning Tech Group (LTG) if you have any questions or need additional guidance with using this template.
