Stanford Reciprocal Services Program

This program makes most library materials at UCSF and Stanford University available to individuals at both institutions.

Registered UCSF faculty, academic staff, and students can

  • Browse and borrow at participating Stanford libraries
  • Call for information on library holdings and/or availability of specific materials. When you call, mention that you are a Stanford/UC Cooperative Program participant
  • Request that journal articles on the Stanford campus be photocopied and mailed to you
  • Have Stanford materials delivered via Interlibrary Loan

Register for the Reciprocal Services Program

  • Bring your campus picture identification, current UCSF registration card, or other picture identification to the Parnassus or Mission Bay service desks
  • UCSF library staff will submit an online form to Stanford’s Green Library
  • You can claim your borrower card at Stanford’s Green Library the next day
