The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Archives and Special Collections invites applications from motivated, detail oriented and inquisitive candidates for two hands-on internships in archival accessioning and processing for the Spring 2026 term.
Interns will work on-site at the UCSF Kalmanovitz Library for 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday. These are unpaid opportunities, but may qualify for academic credit with approval from your institution.

The interns will also gain experience in standard archival practices, working with the collection management software ArchivesSpace, and daily operations of a health sciences university library’s archives and special collections.
This is a valuable learning experience for students pursuing careers in archives, libraries or cultural heritage institutions.
