New: RefWorks Tutorials and Citation Management Guides
The Library recently created two online guides to citation management tools such as EndNote, RefWorks, and Zotero.
The EndNote, RefWorks, and Related Software guide offers basic information and comparisons between several reference management tools. Find out whether EndNote, RefWorks, Zotero, Mendeley, or Papers is right for you.

Music in the Library: The Matt Small and Steve Adams Duo
Matt Small is hailed by the San Francisco Chronicle as “a gifted San Francisco bassist and composer whose alluringly original music draws on a rich range of classical, jazz, and indigenous music.” Small currently leads three distinct ensembles: The Crushing Spiral Ensemble, Matt Small’s Chamber Ensemble, and The Bedlam Royals. Saxophone and flute player Steve Adams teaches at Mills College and is a member of the Rova Saxophone Quartet.

TLC Orientation Day Draws Interprofessional Crowd
On Tuesday, October 11, a day of workshops brought over 100 faculty, staff, students, and others to the Teaching and Learning Center on the Kalmanovitz Library's second floor. Attendees learned about clinical teaching using the Kanbar Center's simulators and standardized patients, and about the many learning technologies and techniques supported in the TLC classrooms.
