UCSF Library Marks Open Access Week, October 24-30
Join the UCSF Library as we participate in the fifth annual Open Access Week from October 24-30. Learn about the benefits of open access publishing, which provides peer-reviewed journal articles free of charge on the web, making them easy to access, share, and use in subsequent research. Open access is an alternative to the traditional subscription model, which burdens the university as costs keep rising.

Mission Bay Library Now Open on Saturdays
The UCSF Library is extremely pleased to announce that the Mission Bay FAMRI Library in the Rutter Community Center is expanding its hours.
Effective October 15, 2011, the Mission Bay Library will be open on Saturdays from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
In addition, the computer lab (CC151) directly adjacent to the Mission Bay Library has recently extended its hours for UCSF students. The computer lab is open all hours that the Rutter Center is open. Access during non-library hours requires a valid UCSF student ID card.
