Every fall, the UCSF Library reviews its journal subscriptions as part of the renewal process for the upcoming year. Due to the severe UC budget crisis, the rising cost of electronic journal and database subscriptions, and the demand for electronic access, we must identify savings through the reduction of print subscription costs.
For 2012, we are nominating 141 print journals for cancellation. With the exception of two print-only subscriptions, only the print versions would be discontinued -- all would remain available online to the UCSF community.
The Library is pleased to present a new set of online guides, designed to help you discover the best databases, books and journals, and strategies for your research topic. Save time by accessing only the most relevant resources, hand-picked by your UCSF librarians!
