Chemistry Central is a new service publishing peer-reviewed, open access research in chemistry from BioMed Central, a biomedical open access publisher. The Chemistry Central website currently features chemistry-related articles published in BioMed Central journals and independent journals utilizing BioMed Central's open access publishing services.

Chemistry Central has just launched Chemistry Central Journal, an open-access, peer-reviewed, online chemistry journal. CCJ is expected to publish its first articles in early 2007. The journal will cover all areas of chemistry.

UCSF authors can take advantage of a 15% reduction in the author publication fee through the Library's membership with BMC.
