Bridon Polypropylene Tow Rothman
I enclose a copy of a letter which I have received
from Mr.
Chalmers Carr of Bridon.
The response from Rothmans is most encouraging
and, by copy
of this letter, I am asking Legal Department to
draw up a limited
licence to permit Carreras Rothman to manufacture
trial quantities
of filters. This would be similar to that entered
into with
Cigarette Components and will involve both Bridon
and B.A.T.
In particular, B.A.T will have to transfer
know-how under the
licence agreement so that the filters can be
produced.
