PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVE
This study will investigate some of the mechanisms
that exist
in the animal body that protect against or enhance
the effect
of insult due to chemicals or mainstream/ambient
tobacco smoke.
It will involve measuring glutathione, ascorbate
and other
protective chemicals and enzymes in tissues of
animals exposed
to chemicals or tobacco smoke.
