Thank you for your note about next year I s
proposed Chittagong
closure which we have discussed further at our
Departmental
meeting today.
Now that discussions have been initiated with
Government and
the unions, it is quite likely that the news will
leak.
So that we and RAT Industries can be fully
prepared, I would be
glad if through Territorial Department, ETC could
be askad to
lot us have as soon as possible, a copy of their
standby press
statement and Q & A list. Any other information in
due course
about the closure procedure would also be useful.
