Gerald Bowden MP about withdrawing ODA support
from tobacco projects. The
BATCo Cbairman (who is away at present) has
received a letter fi-om the
Minister on the subject and I thought you might be
interested to see a
copy.
I have been discussing this with Michael Prideaux
and Heather Honour. We
are now wntin to our General Managers overseas to
find out what the
ct of the.lange of policy is likely to have on
their business and on
economies.
