We have evaluated the situation at all the
operating units of the HATUS
Retail Division. The facts are - 46116 of our
executive work force totally
are women - 29916 of our top management grovp are
women. 47. of our
management group is black. At the current time,
there are no blacks
in what we would identify as top management. The
only comment to make
is that we are an industry which has recognized
the role of women in
management by example and results. We are
committed to positive action
in advancing the careers of minorities. Although
our current percentage
in the management ranks is small, we have made
good progress in the
past several years and anticipate a much higher
percentage over the
next five years.
