'ne 1992 Key Area Papers will be reviewed at the
BATCo Board meeting scheduled for
16 th March 1992 (except for the finance paper
which will be reviewed at the 16th April
Board meeting), ahead of the operating companies'
guidelines being prepared in May.
Attached are copies of the 1991 Key Area Papers on
Production and Leaf. As you know,
rather than these papers being completely
re-written every year, they are only updated
where necessary.
I would be grateful if you would let me have. by
3rd March, any amendments which you
consider should be made to the attached papers, or
confirmation that no changes are
required.
As usual, if only a few changes are made to the
existing text, please indicate the
amendments by the use of lines in the margin.
You ill also recall that it was agreed that
consideration should be given to the production
of a new Key Area Paper on Environmental Issues
(which in 1991 were covered partly in
the Production paper - section 5.2 - and partly in
a section of the Public Affairs Key Area
Paper-extract attached). Would you please let me
know whether you believe a separate
paper is required on this subject and, if so,
arrange for it to be with me by 3rd March.
