.M. =Ar BRITISH-AMERICAN TOBACCO COMPANY LIMITED TO: Jimmi Rembiszewski, lain Hacking, Wyn Jones, Tim Every-Burns, Brahmal Vasudevan, Vijit Bery, Mark Magnacea, Christine Prince, Dirk Lapere,'Jde-Mmi CC: Paul Bingham FROM: DATE: 19 December 1994 SUBJECT: CAMEL Attached for your interest is the new UK ad for Camel which promotes the Camel Art limited edition packs. This is not new, Camel have used creative pack design recently in a number of its markets. Also attachcd is a picture of a "I"hirsty Camel' bottle of sparkling water. I found this on sale in a bar in Fulham (where I would say 200/6 of the people were drinking it). Whether it is really connected with RJR I do not know. The water is sourced from the LTK and is a trademark of a company called Veridian UK. If it is connected with RJP, it demonstrates their willingness to appeal to the current trend amongst young drinkers towards drinking water rather than alcohol.
