C=) BATCo document for Province of British Columbia 19 April 1999 SUNI'VLARY A new filter, called the JOB S filter, has been evaluated. The filter consis&s of sheets of cellulos2 wadding and corrugated papar, curved into a continuous S shape within the cylindrical tube. The filtration efficiency was tube same as that of a cellulose acetate filter having a similar Pressure drop whale its weight was 35t greater. It showed no selective filtration for vapour phase constituents or phenol and it reduced the extractable nicotine level in the smoke. ee", Subjective evaluation indicated that the smol-a from JOB S filters was similar to that from acetate filters. It is not considered that this f-41 -660'r shows rauch promise for the Australian market. C=) L.P4 C=) BATCo document for Province of British Columbia 19 April 1999
