The coefficient of variation of determined deliveries is of the order of lo%. Application of the method to the determination of deliveries of hydrogen sulphide from different tobacco blends revealed -what flue-cured tobacco cigarettes delivered more than burley tobacco cigarettes and less than those manufactured from fermented tobacco. Filtration of hydrogen sulphide by conventional cellulose acetate and Myria/cellulose acetate tips was found to be nominal (less than 20%) while that by carbon containing tips was found to be greater than 7Q4.
