This is a follow-up of our meeting at the Tobacco Manufacturers' Council
on March 30. I would like to express my gratitude to you for arranging
this meeting because I believe that it. helped increase the underatandibg
between the scientific representatives of the member companies and myself.
The research proposal which I submitted last year covered a three-year;
period with a budget request for 1994-85 of $88.402. I have enclosed
a progress report for 1983-84 and the outline of the work we hope to.
