Dear Lorne,
Thank you very much for your most interesting
letter of January 13th enclosing two copies each of your Reports
3 and 3A. and with your answers to the comments raised by
It. & D.E. I -see that you have sent two copies to Dr. Green
and I am expecting Um to com=ent to you directly if he has
anything more to add.
I shall be La Montreal towards the and of February
and I look forward to seeing you again and discussing theme
problems further. You lumve given us a lot to think about and I
should be most grateful if you could please arrange for me to
have five more copies of the report and the graphs, which I
would like for Mr. Procter in Engineering Department, wid for
our friends at Bristol and in Germany, Australia and South Africa.
My spare copy I have given to Mr. Haines,- who In sharing it with
Production Department, and I shall be sharing rny own copy with
Engineering Department until a copy comes for them.
I a= Indeed glad that you feel able to write so freely
to us. We certainly look forward to your letters and reports and
are never disappointed. This is the standard I Mm to see for
