Massey For Action By Following the M.P.D.C. on 28th October, our forward programme in filter technology should be For a range of cigarettes exhibiting different smoking mechanics (successful and unsuccessful) we will determine the following information (a) Delta Panel assessment (b) Puff by puff deliveries by duplication (c) Puff by puff deliveries by smoking machines. A.G.S. 2) The means of exploiting a "by pass- filter principle will be actively pursued through close collaboration of both filter groups. H.G.H. 3) A number of spin moulded variants will be assessed by attaching to a standard tobacco rod. Assessment will include (a) Subjective smoking (b) Puff by puff machine deliveries (c) Selected puff duplication runs. J.A.L. 4) High pressure drop low filter efficiency; this project will now concentrate on a 9 mg "UK&E" type product and will tackle the questions raised,(e.g. reproducibility, control, etc.)at the meeting in GR&DC on 26 th October.
