Following Alan Heard's return to GRIDC, he
mentioned that
he had spent some time talking about coal
retention: I believe
with Cathy McBride. As I understood it, you have
undertaken
some more development of the B. a 1-1. method and
are getting
sensible results with Virginia cigarettes.
Further, it seems
that you may be beginning to work out some
correlations
between coal retention and other physical
characteristics.
Alan commented that he would very much like us to
coordinate with yourselves in this work and I
would be very
pleased if you could update me on the current
situation in
Montreal.
