SJG/BGM L. C. Laporte, Esq. , P.O. Box 6500, Montreal 30, CANADA. Dear Leo, BELULAING 6 th March, 1969. I wrote to you and said that I had no intention of entering a debate with BeIVLaing and I am sending you a copy of my last letter to Mr. Jones. For your own purposes, I am also enclosing R. & D.E. comments on Intertak Report Mark 3. I do not know whether you would agree with me but I have taken the line that, since we have turned down Bell/Laing, they now become potential competition. I have, therefore, tried to answer their points honestly but without disclosing too much am! am hopeful of discouraging them from going any further. For this reason, I have not given them the photographs or the R. & D.E. comments. Personally, I expect them to come back in due course and take the bait that was offered them for us to merely acquire their patent as part of our patent structure with no intention to operate. With kind regards, Yours sincerely, S. J. GREEN. Enc 1: C::) BATCo document for Province of British Columbia 5 November 1999
