I enclose three copies of Report No.RD.398-R
describing the progress on the Short Term
Hyperplasia
test at Frankfurt under Project JANUS.
The report has been delayed by the need to
reproduce photographs obtained by Dr. Ayres during
his
last visit. You will recall that the results in
this
report were discussed at a meeting in Millbank in
May.
The work is continuing with an examination of
the effects produced by pure polycyclic
hydrocarbons,
by the neutral fraction of smoke condensate at
different
dose levels and of a number of different
condensates.
