The toxicity trial with the Initial sample
of 20,000 cigarettes, which you sent us, is now
under
way.
As you know. the main test Is scheduled to
start on Ist Jnnuary 1967 and, as we can expect
some
minor difficulties in sbipping the cigarettes to
Battelle
over the Christmas holidays, we would prefer to
send the
first quarterly shipment by the middle of
December.
it would consequently help us in our planning
if you could give me some indication of when we
ony
expect to receive, at Southampton, the consignment
of BZ
cigarettes.
By the time you receive this the Tobacco
Chemists' Conference will be over and Nally and
Geoff flook
will be at Louisville. I hope you are all enjoying
