The Learning Technologies Group (LTG) supports the application of information/computing technology to the delivery of course content. Our role is to facilitate and promote effective use of multimedia and computer-based resources in the UCSF curricula.
Learning Technologies manages the Collaborative Learning Environment (powered by Moodle), an online environment used by all UCSF schools for delivering curricular content, as well as the UCSF Portfolio, an electronic portfolio system that provides tools for setting up a personal learning and development environment.
LTG provides needs-based and participatory workshops to UCSF staff, faculty, and students on the most popular educational tools that help to enhance the teaching and learning process at UCSF. Visit the Workshop page for more information and to register for an upcoming Clinic.
Learning Technologies also provides multimedia workstations with the tools needed to develop digital content, available in the Technology Commons (CL240 - Library 2nd floor). These workstations are used by faculty, staff and students who are developing curricular materials.
Follow the Convergence blog for updates on the CLE, content creation and emerging technologies at UCSF.
