NOTE:
New toolbars were released in September 2009.
Be sure you have uninstalled any old toolbars, then install the current version. This should correct most problems.

Uninstalling Toolbars
To uninstall the current toolbars:
- Uninstall Firefox Toolbars by going to Tools > Add Ons
- Uninstall IE Toolbars by going to the Windows Start menu > Control Panels > Add or Remove Programs
To uninstall an older version:
- Uninstall Firefox Toolbars by going to Tools > Add Ons
- Uninstall IE Toolbars by clicking the "Uninstall" button on the toolbar
Admin Rights to Install IE Toolbars
It may be necessary to have administrative rights to your computer in order to install the IE toolbars. If you are having trouble installing a toolbar, you might need to get the system administrator to install it for you.
VPN Access with Toolbars
When using your Toolbar off campus, use the Network Connect option of VPN@UCSF Services.This ensures that everything you do during the session is on the UCSF network.
