Library Expands Support for Writing Papers

CitationMgmt_logos.png

For many years the UCSF Library has offered extensive support for EndNote, and more recently we added support for RefWorks.

The number of tools for managing citations in manuscripts continues to proliferate. Zotero, Mendeley, and Papers are three newer products that can assist with manuscript preparation. Zotero is an extension available for Firefox that works directly within the web browser, making for a more seamless research process. Mendeley is a social network that lets you see what others are reading, and supports standard citation management functions. Papers is a Mac-only application that allows easy browsing and sharing and syncs with the iPhone or iPad. In our quest to make your lives easier, the Library website now offers detailed overviews of each of these resources. Learn more about Zotero, Mendeley, and Papers.
