The Library now provides access to CINAHL Plus, which will replace the Ovid interface for CINAHL. CINAHL via Ovid will no longer be available after August 15, 2006.

CINAHL Plus indexes nursing and allied health literature from 1937 to the present. In addition to articles, it includes citations for health care books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, educational software, audiovisuals, and book chapters.

Selected with input from SON faculty and students, CINAHL Plus provides more continuing education modules and research instruments. Its evidence-based care sheets and quick lessons on various medical conditions are particularly useful to professionals. Searchable cited references are also included. RSS and email alerts are available to keep you up to date on topics of interest.

The companion database, Pre-CINAHL, provides access to citations for newly published articles not yet in CINAHL.
