UCSF now has online access to over 320 books published by O'Reilly via Safari Tech Books Online. O'Reilly is a leading publisher of information technology books, publishing on everything from operating systems to database development to scripting languages. The complete contents of the books -- text, figures, code examples, and indices -- are included in Safari. Safari's search engine can search the full text of the books or for code fragments only.

Safari provides online access to all O'Reilly books published since 2003 that have been made available online. Safari will be adding more books to its O'Reilly library. The UC library system has a shared contract for Safari, and all campuses will have access to newly added titles as they become available.

Note: UCSF shares 28 access ports to Safari with the other UC campuses. If you see a message that all sessions are in use, please try again later when more ports may be available.
