UCSF Honors Flight Attendant Medical Research Institute

On February 12, the Flight Attendant Medical Research Institute (FAMRI) and its Board of Trustees were honored for their generous contributions to several important UCSF programs. Since 2001, FAMRI has donated more than $30 million to support researchers at UCSF.
The following were dedicated to FAMRI: - Mission Bay Library - Garden Terrace at the Parnassus Library - Bland Lane Center of Excellence on Second Hand Smoke FAMRI's mission is to sponsor scientific and medical research for the early detection, prevention, treatment, and cure of diseases and medical conditions caused by exposure to second hand tobacco smoke.
