The Summer of 2013 has seen the arrival of Bonnie & the BANG BANG as big time players in the San Francisco music scene. The Bay Area's premier aggressive indie-folk outfit recently played BottleRock Napa Valley, Live105's BFD, and a set at the America's Cup Pavilion in support of their new album, The Dark Dream. Bonnie blends masterful song writing with a powerful live performance designed to mesmerize. Listen to Bonnie & the BANG BANG.
Please join us on Thursday, October 24, for the 3rd Annual Teaching and Learning Center Day on the 2nd floor of the Parnassus Campus Library. UCSF faculty, educators, staff, and students are all welcome.
The recently launched UCSF Teacher's Toolkit integrates tips, tutorials, and referral information to assist UCSF faculty in their role as educators. Currently focused on educational technology, the Toolkit covers the following topics:
The Library now provides EZproxy, a new method for off-campus access to online resources. With EZproxy, UCSF users can access library resources from off the UCSF network by using their MyAccess login. You will not need to log into campus VPN in order to access the Library’s online resources.
EZproxy eliminates issues that currently exist when using web VPN with My NCBI and The New England Journal of Medicine. It will also improve access to library resources on mobile devices.
This month, the Library will offer two workshops on using Ingenuity Pathways Analysis (IPA), a biological knowledge base and software application for the analysis of genomic and proteomic datasets. Learn more about IPA.
UCSF students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to register for one of these free, in-person classes:
