The Medical Letter Now Available Online
The Medical Letter is an independent nonprofit organization that uses a consensus of experts to develop drug prescribing recommendations independent of the pharmaceutical industry. UCSF's site license includes access to:

- The Medical Letter on Drugs and Therapeutics
Provides evaluations of drugs, reviewing virtually all new drugs and covering older drugs when new information becomes available.

- Treatment Guidelines from the Medical Letter
Features review articles of drug classes for treatment of common disorders.

- Adverse Drug Interactions Program
A searchable, evidence-based database of interactions.

- The Handbook of Antimicrobial Therapy
Contains articles that outline the treatment of particular infectious agents as well as possible alternatives.

- The Medical Letter CME Program
A self-study program providing up-to-date, unbiased drug reviews.
