Now you can search the latest five years of records from BIOSIS Previews and Web of Science (WoS) at the same time using CrossSearch.
BIOSIS indexes hundreds of biological and biomedical journals that are not indexed in PubMed and is the best resource for finding meeting abstracts in the life sciences. Web of Science covers about 8,700 leading journals of science, technology, social sciences, arts, and humanities, and provides access to the Science Citation Index (SCI) and Social Science Citation Index (SSCI). Web of Science has also added some new features. Citation Report is a citation analysis feature. It allows you to run a report on your retrieved citations, letting you see which articles in your results are most cited. In addition, the new Distinct Author identification system helps you quickly find the right author. Web of Science now captures full author names as they are listed in the original articles. Access to BIOSIS now includes all back files to 1926. Access CrossSearch, BIOSIS Previews, or Web of Science from the Databases area of GALEN. [back to top] |
