Hiroshige, known mainly for his picturesque, breathtaking landscapes, also produced prints of subjects including flowers, birds, and fishes. Each print of the 19 exhibited in this show suggests a season, based on the flower or plant depicted and the time of the year traditionally associated with each fish. View a virtual exhibit.
