Users of the Legacy Tobacco Documents Library's Full Text Demonstration Site (LTDL FTD) have previously experienced major limitations in the ability to search for documents using a date range. This problem has been addressed by the Tobacco Projects team and as of July 13, 2006, users can now successfully specify that they want documents within a date range. There are no restrictions on the size of that range. Two limitations to the date range search function exist at the present time: a user cannot combine two date ranges, and the single date range search must be done in conjunction with another search term.

We will continue to announce LTDL FTD enhancements and new features as we progress towards an updated and improved site.
