Journals are shelved by call numbers beginning with W1:
Journals1st floor (compact shelving) includes volumes previously located on 1st and 2nd floors, Reference, History, and East Asian Journals.
Current3rd floor (generally, previous 6-12 months)
Reserve3rd floor (Circulation Desk)

Books are shelved by a Library of Congress call number, A-V, X-Z:

Call numbers Q-Z4th floor

Core Reference
Consumer Health Reference

Popular Reading3rd floor (shelved alphabetically by author)

Mission Bay Materials

Materials marked Mission Bay or MBCC are located at the Mission Bay Library in the William J. Rutter Community Center Building.

NRLF Materials

Lower use journals, books, and dissertations are sent to the Northern Regional Library Facility (NRLF), a cooperative library facility owned and operated by the University of California. Items at NRLF can be retrieved within 4 working days.
