Parnassus Library Extended Hours During Finals
The Information Services desk is staffed Monday - Friday, 12:00 noon - 5:00 PM. You may call us at (415) 476-2337 during those hours, or contact us online.
Building closure starts 20 minutes before the designated closing hour. Hours are subject to change. For the most current information, please call (415) 476-2336.
Additional study space is available for students when the Library is closed.
Sunday: CLOSED
After-hours access for UCSF students: The Mission Bay Library is open until midnight, Monday - Thursday, as a study space.
- After 9 PM, enter through the adjacent computer lab (CC151).
- After 10 PM, the Community Center building is officially closed, but students may enter through the eastern entrance until midnight.
- In addition, the computer lab (CC151) is open to UCSF students whenever the Community Center is open.
- Use your UCSF student ID for access.

The Tech Commons computing space is open during all Library hours. Use your UCSF ID card to enter.
The Reading Room is open by appointment, Mondays and Tuesdays, 9am-noon and 1-4pm. Please call (415) 476-8112 or email archives staff to ask a reference question or arrange an appointment.
