Older books and journals are kept in easy-to-open compact shelves on the 1st floor. Books published before 1900 do not circulate. Low-use materials are stored in the Northern Regional Library Facility (NRLF) in Richmond and can be retrieved by request. Historical materials are housed in the History Collection on the 5th floor.
