UCSF Open Access Policy

UCSF Open Access Policy

The UCSF Academic Senate voted on and unanimously passed an Open Access Policy for UCSF at the May 21, 2012 Division Meeting. Read the press release at the UCSF News Center.

In support of this policy, and as a first step toward implementation, UCSF and the California Digital Library (CDL) have developed a website for faculty to deposit articles, request waivers of the license, and place a temporary embargo on the availability of articles published.
