How to Access
If you have a
UCSF VPN account
:
- Go to
https://vpn.ucsf.edu/
and login with your VPN User ID.
- Choose "UCSF Library" under Web Bookmarks, navigate to the Database page, and choose your database.

How to Apply for a VPN Account
If you do not have a UCSF VPN account:

Who is Eligible for a VPN Account
Remote access to library resources is restricted to UCSF personnel and students only. UCSF personnel and students include:
- Students currently enrolled at UCSF (alumni are not considered UCSF students).
- UCSF staff, faculty, residents and postdocs.
- Clinical and emeritus faculty.
Non-UCSF personnel and students may access
publicly accessible resources
