Every year, the UCSF Library reviews its journal subscriptions as part of the renewal process for the upcoming year. Due to the sharp UC budget cuts, the rising cost of electronic journal and database subscriptions, and decreased usage of print journals, we must identify savings through the reduction of print subscription costs.
For 2014, we are proposing 44 print subscriptions for cancellation. With the exception of two print-only subscriptions, all titles would remain available online to the UCSF community.
Please review the proposed 2014 journal cancellations. (You must be on the UCSF network or be logged into VPN to view the list of titles.) Send your comments to Collection Management by Friday, May 24, 2013.
