Free Training in Ingenuity Pathways Analysis
February 25, 2013
On March 14, UCSF will host a special workshop on using Ingenuity Pathways Analysis (IPA). IPA is a program that helps researchers model, analyze, and understand the complex biological and chemical systems at the core of life science research. Use IPA to:
- build a more complete upstream regulatory picture
- gain a better understanding of the biology underlying a given gene expression study
- predict important regulatory or signaling genes such as transcription factors, microRNAs and cytokines
- predict activation or inhibition of upstream regulators
- discover relationships between upstream regulators that illustrate how they work together in a signaling cascade
- generate testable hypotheses faster
UCSF faculty, staff, and students may register for this in-person class and/or a one-on-one appointment with an Ingenuity scientist.
