Executive Vice Chancellor A. Eugene Washington has requested a series of reports to analyze the utilization of Parnassus Library Space and to make specific recommendations regarding repurposing the space.
Advisory Committee on Library Space Planning
In July 2005, the Advisory Committee on Library Space Planning submitted a report to EVC Washington that recommended how space in the Kalmanovitz Library should be utilized. The final report of the Advisory Committee as well as recommendations from outside library consultants are available below.

Working Group on Library Space Planning
In March 2006, the Working Group on Library Space Planning developed specific action items for the recommendations in the Advisory Committee report.

In March 2007, the Working Group on Library Space Program
Planning recommended specific functions for the 2nd floor Library space.
